2010 Book Sales:

Friday, March 12, 5-8pm & Saturday, March 13, 10am-5pm

For book sale updates: If you are on our Claude Moore Colonial Farm News email list, we will send out a notice, the sales are always listed on our website home page and we are on listed on www.booksalefinder.com.

We have a wall of books on sale throughout the year at The GateHouse Shop, but several times throughout the year, we schedule major book sales. This is our opportunity to offer the large selection of books which have been donated to the Farm. Browse through books for history lovers, travelers, gardeners, cooks and kids. You'll find fiction, nonfiction, first editions and some rare and special volumes, videotapes, CDs and records. These books are 100% donated, 85% are hardback and prices range from $1 - $2 each. Standard paperback books are 5 for $1. Handheld scanners are permitted but you must "scan as you go".

2010 Craft Items for Sale:

We have plenty of craft supplies! Some may be found at the GateHouse Shop, but we have quite a lot in storage too. If you are looking for something specifice, contact Ann Cote at craftsales@1771.org with what you're looking for. We can get it for you by request.

For example, you will find:

  • Easter supplies
  • little baskets
  • knitting machine
  • quilting maple frame
  • lace and ribbon
  • enameling supplies
  • doll patterns and supplies
  • soft baby dolls

  • wooden pieces for small projects
