Inclement Weather Policy:

The 18th century Farm will open every day, Wednesday through Sunday, April through mid-December, with the exception of Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and:

• if high winds, excessive rain or other weather conditions make the farm site unsafe;
• if Fairfax County Public Schools are closed due to snow.

The Farm will cancel special programs and events in cases of extreme inclement weather. If the weather is questionable, please call the Farm Office (703-442-7557) or GateHouse Shop (703-903-9330) before you visit.

Farm Skills Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy:

If the Farm cancels a program due to extreme inclement weather, we will either refund your $50 deposit or reschedule within the season if possible.

If you choose not to come less than 10 days before the program, and the program is still held, your $50 deposit is non-refundable though we will reschedule within the season if possible.
