At
the Market Fairs of the Claude Moore Colonial Farm, many talented
artisans sell and demonstrate their wares while entertainers
bedazzle the crowd with their acts. If you are interested in
joining their noble ranks, there are a few guidelines you need
to be aware of. There is a limited amount of space on our Market
Fair grounds, so we cannot accept everyone who is interested.
Guidelines
for potential artisans or merchants:
- All wares and clothing must be 18th century appropriate,
as determined by the Market Fair Guild.
- Craftspersons must agree to demonstrate their craft as well
as sell their wares.
- Merchandise, craft or act cannot overlap with anything already
available at the Market Fair.
The Farm does not charge any fee to the Market Fair artisans
or entertainers.
